So what are your thoughts on hardcore gaming, Im a big fan of gaming but casually, kill a few hours zapping the baddies. But I persoanlly know some hardcore competitve gamers, spending hours every night gaming and going to the lans all over the place to win limited eddition mouse mats or whatever. What do you guys think?

The market is there, but I've never been a hardcode gamer myself. I used to game a hell of a lot more when I was younger and had the time, but never competitively.

I did get to meet Fatal1ty at CES once. Nice guy, he obliterated me in Unreal Tournament. It wasn't even close.

I can see the appeal of hardcore gaming; refining any kind of skill can be satisfying and doing so provides a special kind of enjoyment that can't be gotten from casual practice.

I'm not a hardcore gamer by any means though.
