Shame they never had a multiplayer version
Though it wouldn't have been that popular it still
Would have been fun!

I've been a fan of SimCity for years now. My grandmother got it for me as a gift way back in the SimCity 2000 days. She said the people at the game store (not sure which one it was) told her it was a popular game. I remember I initially thought I wasn't going to like it, and ended up loving it.

I just got SimCity for the iPad. Haha.

I was cruising around in the pride of rotterdam just there, ah the wonders of sim city, building a budding eutopian society and then destroying it :)

Join - a simulator game where you get to be part of a country of your choosing, participate in wars, lead a country to greatness, be a magnate of constructions, a journalist who gets to write articles for his country or a farmer that sells food, or maybe just make lots of friends from the simrepublic community.

liamreid - Jan. 21, 2011 at 5:55:11pm

But is It a simulator in the true sense of the word? I define a simulator as a game that in as far as possiable recreates the experience of preforming the task it's simulating. What would you class as a simulator?

I'm into the Sims 2 and 3, if that counts.

I barely play though.  It really gets complicated and I suddenly get lost in what I'm doing.

Rob that seems to be a repeating factor in your posts about games! Stop being so busy! lol!

aha Ive wanted to play X3 for years but never managed to get a hold of a copy! I might buy it soon enough when I have free time!

Yeah, sadly a lot of things I say are basically one of the two scenarios:

"I have this game! But I haven't played it yet."
"I want this game! But I don't own it yet because I'm not sure if I'll have the time to play it."
