Just pre-ordered it on Steam. Bye bye bank balance, hello GOTY 2011 competitor!

I have Gears of War 3 preordered myself. Tons of games I want.

Aye, I'm going to get Skyrim too.  I was skeptical at first, when I saw how awesome the graphics was, didn't know how my comp was going to handle it.  But this game NEEDS to be played on PC, Oblivion has over 2,000 mods, I just can't pass that up.  Then I read the system specs, and how it was still DX9, (which is a good sign) uses a part of the same engine as Oblivion, so I don't feel too bad.  It's only recommending a quad core - not the i5 or i7 series, and if Deus Ex Human Revolution does to when that game runs nearly smooth as silk on my duo core, I'm not that worried.

Sounds like my rig would handle it just fine.

I don't know if mine will be alright but I sure hope so. It runs Oblivion fine, and the most current gen game I have is Portal 2 and it seems to run fine with no lag issues so here's hoping it'll work. Still think Deus Ex will be GOTY

You wouldn't happen to be using Windows 7, 64-bit would you David?  I haven't been able to run ANY Oblivion-based engine game (which includes Fallout 3 and New Vegas) ever since I went from Vista-32 to Win 7-64.  It's not like I changed the hardware, my computer was already 64-bit capable when I was running Vista (64 bit wasn't optimized yet at the time) all I changed was the OS.

Do you play any of those games without it crashing on startup? I have a six month old Bethesda support ticket, i don't think they know how to fix it either.

Nope. The only heavy game I really run on this machine is StarCraft II.
