Pokemon to Appear on Smart Phones This Summer
Earlier this week, Nintendo announced its first entry into the smart phone market with Pokemon Say Tap? BW, a music rhythm game in which players use Pokemon cards as visual cues to tap along with the music. The app will be released this summer and will be available for free on the Apple Marketplace.
Despite this game showing up on smart phones, Nintendo has no plans on releasing any future Nintendo titles for any smart phone platform.
According to Bloomberg.com, Nintendo's decision to publish games exclusively on its own system still remains.
It should be noted that despite being a flagship title for Nintendo, Pokemon is only 32 percent owned by Nintendo, the rest belonging to an independent company.
